Responsibilities
- Assure maintenance/preventive maintenance program compliance with the BRC IOP Issue 5 Standard
- Inspect equipment and machine parts for surface defects
- Analyze and record test results, and prepare written testing documentation
- Operate metalworking machines to fabricate housings, jigs, fittings, or fixtures
- Repair, rework, or calibrate hydraulic or pneumatic assemblies or systems to meet operational specifications or tolerances
Requirements
- Technical college degree in electromechanic
- C licence holder
- 3 years experience in similar role and industry
- Ability to read blueprints, manufacturing outlines for electronic products, schematics, and technical drawings
- Understands engineering data or reports, service or repair manuals
- Able to use precision measuring tools or equipment, and operate precision test equipment
- Solder electrical or electronic connections or components
- Use electrical or electronic test devices or equipment
- Use hand or power tools
- Set up and operate variety of machine tools
- Set oscilloscopes in electronics repair
- Use precision measuring devices in mechanical repair work
- Install/connect electrical equipment to power circuit
- Modify electrical or electronic equipment or products
- Test equipment as part of engineering projects or processes
- Install electronic equipment, components, or systems
- Repair or replace electrical wiring, circuits, fixtures, or equipment
- Use technical information in manufacturing or industrial activities
- Use combination welding procedures
- Use knowledge of metric system
- Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills (French, English an asset)
- Possess a WHMIS and TMD certification is an asset or training will be given by the employer
