Polykar Chooses FARMOR Architecture and Dawson Wallace for Edmonton Expansion

Edmonton, AB — January 15, 2026 — Polykar is pleased to announce that FARMOR Architecture, the team behind the design of the current Edmonton facility, will once again lead the architectural vision for the next phase of expansion. Complementing this work, Dawson Wallace Construction Ltd. has been selected as the project builder following a thorough evaluation process.

Construction is already underway, with foundation work progressing and steel installation scheduled to begin in the early new year.

FARMOR Architecture’s familiarity with Polykar’s operations and design vision positioned the firm to create an extension that integrates seamlessly with the existing structure while enhancing production flow.

“Designing this new phase allowed us to build on the foundation we created with the first facility. The new facility optimizes workflow, incorporates modern manufacturing technology, and reinforces a welcoming environment for the team. It’s exciting to see their growth reflected in a space that’s as forward-thinking as their vision,” said Noorullah Hussain Zada, Associate Architect, FARMOR Architecture.

Following a competitive evaluation process, Dawson Wallace was selected for its proven track record in advanced manufacturing projects and its knowledge of Polykar.

“We’re proud to be associated with this expansion project. We know how important this building is to Polykar’s long-term growth. Our focus is to deliver a space that supports their team, their technology, and their future,” explained Jeff Dawson, Vice-President, Dawson Wallace Construction Ltd.

Polykar highlighted the importance of choosing partners who understand the company’s long-term vision.

“Selecting the right partners is essential when expanding a facility designed for long-term impact. Dawson Wallace and FARMOR Architecture understand our vision and our commitment to innovation and sustainability. We’re proud to continue this journey with teams who share our values and who have played a key role in shaping Polykar’s presence in Edmonton,” Amir Karim, President and CEO, Polykar.
