Exactly one year ago, Polykar commemorated a monumental milestone in our 35-year history by inaugurating our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Edmonton, Alberta.

Since touching down in this city, we have made significant strides in bolstering the region's manufacturing sector. Join us as we celebrate our one-year anniversary and explore some of our remarkable accomplishments!
 
Round-the-clock operations: Our plant is now maximizing productivity through nonstop operations. With a 24/7 operating schedule and near full capacity, we ensure seamless performance and uninterrupted output.
 
Our state-of-the-art recycling facility has successfully processed 2.7 million pounds of post-commercial and post-industrial plastic waste from Alberta. We expect to finish the year at over 3 million pounds!

New Local Partnerships: We're thrilled to welcome 20 new distributors from Western Canada who are now sourcing their bags locally.

Strong Connections: 4 long-time Polykar employees from our Montreal head office have joined our Edmonton team, establishing a vital link between the two facilities.

New Jobs: We've created 50 new jobs, and we expect this number to grow to 70 with our upcoming expansion.
